Abstract
The roads of Bangladesh are one of the most fundamental yet problematic aspects of the country's infrastructure. As every day goes by, Bangladesh's streets have become increasingly harder to use. Be it negligence regarding the rules by public and drivers alike, violence on the roads, or inefficient equipment, Bangladesh has some of the most critical road-culture in the world. This can be seen clearly by our alarmingly high accident rate and death from road accidents. We feel like our estimation system will help when it comes to making the roads safer and easier to navigate. An innovative technique of calculating object velocity to use optical flow and object tracking to measure pixel displacement data is provided in this paper, which gives us the average velocity of the tracked object. Vehicle velocity estimation for the following self-driven smart vehicle technology has extraordinary importance for the vehicle technology community and the intelligent transportation community. It is essential having a correct estimation of vehicle speed for secure driving, accidents and incidents avoidance, driver assistance system, And so on. However, estimating vehicle speed is challenging when pictures are obtained from a regular surveillance camera that does not maintain length and area ratios. The aim of this system is to determine the speed of a moving vehicle.
