Jakariya; 1221144027Mosquito borne diseases are the most important public health problem in Bangladesh due to mismanaged of environment. Government of Bangladesh has taken so many steps to get rid of this problem but did not focused every possible way which causes help to raise this problem. This study will focused on anthropogenic activities which may responsible or can be core problem of mosquito breeding problem in Bashundhara residential area as well as Bangladesh. The research used literature review to do a comparative analysis on the mosquito breeding problem among developed and developing countries. The rising problem were identified though scoring system ,open and closed questionnaire survey based on knowledge, attitude and practice.312 random respondents were selected from the selected area of bashundhara residential area. Total 5 blocks were selected for this study. Besides every block problems were marked though field visits. From key informants valuable information came out. In Bangladesh urban areas are facing mosquito problem .So, the causes of the rising problem in bashundhara might help to solve the problem in the other areas too. Through this study policy maker will find new way to improve the previous policy.
