- ItemOpen Access360 Degree Rotating Autonomous Line Follower Vehicle(North South University, 2019) Shakila Reza Falgunee; Md. Forhad Sarker; Mahdia Maimuna Maisha; Shazzad Hosain; 1511463643; 1430046042; 1430720643Our project has four features. It is initiated via a Bluetooth controller. Operator fixes the designated checkpoint. It can be controlled both manually and can run autonomously. Then vehicle runs on distinguishing the black path with the white space around via 4 IR sensors attached ahead of the vehicle. There is ultrasonic sonar that detects any obstacle in front on the following path. Sonar stops the vehicle keeping a distance of 15 cm away from that obstacle. This vehicle is set up algorithmically to take the rightmost path when any obstacle comes over its black line path. Our project is made to carry an approximately 10kg weight and reach to the designated checkpoint targeted by operator via Bluetooth. It has no limitation for unloading. The main unique feature is that it can take a rotation of 360 degree when task is completed after unloading. Vehicle comes back to the original point from where it has been started after 360 degree rotation from the end point. It is designed with 4 customized wheels connected with 4 Dc gear motor at four different corners under a PVC board. Over the board there is motor shield connected in parallel with Arduino mega. Ultrasonic sonar and 5 IR sensors and 12 volt battery are connected with Arduino too.
- ItemOpen AccessProduct Distribution Network(North South University, 2023) Md. Razib; Md. Zahin Faiyaz Islam; Sanjida Rahman; Sadia Tahasin; Hadia Tasmim Oishi; Shazzad Hosain; 1821931042; 1912207642; 1911223042; 1921397042; 1911146042In the face of Dhaka's fast-paced retail environment, our team embarked on a mission to transform distribution operations, addressing critical challenges like optimizing shop visits, ensuring timely deliveries, managing complex orders, and fortifying vendor relationships. Our journey culminated in the creation of a robust distribution network system seamlessly connecting Sales Representatives (SRs), Distributors (Ds), and Delivery Sales Representatives (DSRs) through a unified platform. Using a user-friendly website and a tailor-made Android app for SRs, we revolutionized communication, order processing, and inventory management, eliminating lost phone calls and handwritten errors. Our system ensures instant order placement, real-time delivery tracking, and transparent inventory visibility for everyone involved. Beyond mere technology, our focus is on building meaningful connections. We believe the future of retail distribution lies in fostering strong relationships with vendors and partners. Our system promotes closer collaboration, providing real-time insights for Ds into SR needs and giving SRs direct access to vendor inventory and product details. This cultivates trust, transparency, and a more efficient and responsive distribution chain. Beyond reshaping Dhaka's distribution landscape, our project offers insights applicable to businesses navigating similar challenges in any dynamic urban setting. By embracing technology and nurturing relationships, we present a practical blueprint for the future of retail distribution that optimizes operations, strengthens partnerships, and delivers a seamless experience for both businesses and consumers.
- ItemOpen AccessSmart Voting System(North South University, 2019) Mahmudur Rashid; Md. Aowrongajab Uaday; Md. Nazmul Islam Shuzan; Shazzad Hosain; 1511966042; 1512918043; 1511783043In this project, we design a novel type of electronic voting system. With the help of live image processing technology, this system becomes more secure and effective. Besides the advancement in hardware, web, and application-based voter sorting system is introduced by which a voter can choose to vote from anywhere of a country which makes a hundred percent participation of voters. Four connected machines work together to accumulate each successful vote. Before counting the final vote by the fourth machine, NID, biometric fingerprint and image of the voter are verified by the other three machines simultaneously. While voting, if multiple faces detected by the camera module, the vote will not be counted. Corrupted situations can be easily reduced by this inexpensive and effective system.
