dc.description.abstractElectronic commerce or e-commerce refers to a wide range of online business activities for products and services. E-commerce website is a vital platform nowadays for online businesses. In this era of internet e-commerce is growing at a high rate keeping the growth of online businesses. Still the proliferation of an e-commerce website in the under developed world is not that great and there is a lot to desire for. This report outlines different aspects of developing an e-commerce website and the optimal solution to the challenges involved in the developing one and also why we are developing a new e-commerce website because there exists some good e-commerce websites around us. The one thing will make an e-commerce platform effective when it will have some unique features in it and in this report you will be able to know about the unique features such as selling used products, exchange products, products on demand, delivery man option of the website clearly and the motivation and also the goals behind the work. The main advantage of an e-commerce platform over traditional commerce is the users can browse a great range of shops or products in online, compare prices and order merchandise sitting at home using their personal computer or mobile phone. The entire development is primarily divided into two parts- the front-end development and the back-end development. The database design is also discussed with an emphasis on its relational connectivity.
