Yousuf Hossain; Johaer Mashrur Chowdhury; Mohammad Rezaul Islam; 1510553042; 1530123042; 1510295042; 1510606042Automation is the new buzzword in this 21st century. When automation word is used, a few things come to our mind. For example: cutting down human stress, cutting down labor costs etc. First if one listens this automated cattle farm word, he/she will not believe that it’s possible. But if one breaks down the tasks happened inside the farm step by step, and tries to think about the scenario after doing automation; he/she starts believing in the possibility. In this project, we have built a temperature control system. Fan and bulb will be controlled automatically if temperature increases of decreases. There is a feeding system by which food will be served to the cattle automatically. We have a washing and a scraper system, through which farm’s floor will be washed. We have a web app. Farm owner will be able to see; what’s going on inside the farm, will be able to control it remotely from any part of the world. There is an information section in the website, what it will provide is vaccination date, possible vaccines to give cattle etc.
- ItemOpen AccessAutomated Face Recognition Attendance System(North South University, 2020) Md. Zahidul Hasan; Aishwaria Roy; Mohammad Abdullah Siddiky; Monisha Saha; Tahamina Akhter Akhi; Mohammad Rezaul Islam; 1510942042; 1610624042; 1620641042; 1631667042; 1611937043To any company or any organization taking attendance is a must. In this era, there are many types of attendance system. These are RFID based attendance system, fingerprint-based attendance system or traditional hand note attendance. Those processes that we have described so far are time consuming to record as well as it cannot guaranty the presence of employees in the office between full office time. Those two barriers, which forced us to find a way, which will ensure the presence and increase the productivity time of employees. In our senior design project, we have tried to find a solution of those two problems. Here we have proposed a system that will automatically take the attendance of each employee in every 1 minute to update presence status of each employee and register it in the database. This method will ensure the presence of employees in the office as well as it will save time of taking attendance.
- ItemOpen AccessIoT Based Self-Driving Car(North South University, 2020) Sazid Abdullah; Kazi Sabbir Anwar; Sumaiya Habib Poushy; Kazi Farhan Rashid; Mohammad Rezaul Islam; 1311096042; 1511242642; 1511466642; 1530645045Self-driving vehicles represent a technological leap forward that can offer solutions to current transportation problems and dramatically change how people approach mobility. While self-driving cars have the potential to improve safety and increase quality of life, many people appear reluctant to adopt the technology because they are uncomfortable with safety, liabilities, and control. Public attitudes toward self-driving cars are increasingly important as the public shapes the demand for the technology, policies that govern them, and future investments in infrastructure. Moreover, the nature of the technology means that the truly transformative benefits are only realized once self-driving cars are adopted by mass. We find that individuals are most attracted to potential safety benefits, the convenience of not having to find parking, and amenities such as multitasking while en route; conversely, individuals were most concerned with liability, the cost of the technology, and losing control of the vehicle. Men are more likely to be concerned with liability and less likely to be involved with control than women. Individuals with higher incomes are most concerned with liability, and those with lower incomes appear to be more concerned with safety and control. Single-occupancy vehicle commuters and cyclists were most concerned with giving up control. All groups were concerned with costs. We present this paper to inform those creating this technology how self-driving cars will likely be perceived by the public.
- ItemOpen AccessOnline Urban Farming: Introducing online platform for garden lovers(North South University, 2020) Mubina Rahaman Jerin; Fatiha Jahan; Mohammad Rezaul Islam; 1511104042; 1420477042Urban agriculture is the one of the most relevant environmental innovation of the modern era. Sustaining green habitation in city areas has a great social, environmental and commercial effect among the city dwellers. In fact, the decision of urban plantation and rooftop gardening in city can make overpopulated city area more suitable for living with greener environment. Implementation of innovative ideas in this domain can increase the chance of a healthy environment. IT products can certainly be a sustainable solution to network people in the noble cause to make their populated cities with more green habitation. Moreover, online software solution can ease the process of urban plantation in urban spaces like rooftops, balcony, enclosed spaces with little sunlight. More specifically acquiring the tools and services related to gardening is seldom in the city. Online software based products can help people to network to other people who have implemented knowledge about urban faming. Also, people can get to buy and sell agricultural tools as wells as the harvest. In this project, we aim to design, implement and test a software based solution for buying, selling, networking and giving knowledge about urban agricultural products among the online users.

A robotic arm is one form of mechanical arm which is identical to a human arm and can do most of the works that a human arm can do. It can do various works which is very risky for a human. Our robotic arm is a four-degree, arduino-controlled, 360 degree, 4 direction robot arm which can be fitted almost any way. The proposed robotic arm is intended to perform several related tasks with four degrees of freedom, such as material handling, rotating, and can act as an assistant to the industry. The robotic arm is designed with several servo-motors that simultaneously carry out Arm motions. In general, most robotic arms are operated by a central controller, which uses the values entered by the user from the terminal to transfer the arm to specific space co-ordinates. This makes controlling very challenging because the engine control values are very difficult to anticipate to accomplish a certain movement. This can be achieved easily by using this project. In this project, Arduino IDE using suitable movement angles via Arduino, it interacts with the robotic arm that drives the servo-motors with the ability to vary location. At last, without losing the human work, the Robotic Arms can perform one mission at a time, with speed and durability.
