Acharya President of the University. Sahabuddin appointed this. This appointment was announced in a notification of the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education last Sunday. Atiqul Islam will serve as Vice-Chancellor till February 22, 2028. NSU Board of Trustees Chairman Javed Munir Ahmed congratulated Atiqul Islam on his re-appointment as Vice-Chancellor. Atiqul Islam serves as the Executive Dean and Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) of the Faculty of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia. He has served at the University of Sydney, NSW, Curtin University, Canterbury University and National University Singapore. Atiqul Islam graduated from Dhaka University with First Class and Post Graduate Degree. He received his PhD from the University of Sydney.
