The Department of Political Science & Sociology (PSS) offers General Education (GEd) courses in Social Sciences and Liberal Arts. NSU curriculum requires undergraduate students to complete mandatory 51 credits for university core GEd courses. At present, PSS offers an extensive choice of GEd courses in the areas of Anthropology, Gender Relations, Governance, International Relations, Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, Television and News Media. PSS department designed its curriculum in a manner that can equip students with critical thinking, intellectual abilities, applied knowledge and ethical responsibilities – these elements have become essential qualities for a leader in the corporate & business world and public sector.
