Abstract
Southeast Bank PLC. and North South University (NSU) have launched a VISA Co-Branded Credit and Prepaid Card to promote digital financial inclusion for the academic community. The launch was held recently at the NSU campus in Bashundhara, Dhaka. The event was graced by Professor Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of NSU; Mr. Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Southeast Bank PLC; and Mr. Sabbir Ahmed, Country Manager of Visa for Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan.As part of the initiative, Southeast Bank has rolled out co-branded credit cards exclusively for eligible NSU faculty and staff, offering lifetime annual fee waivers and tailored credit limits based on individual eligibility.
