dc.description.abstractSpeaking at Dhaka–China Day 2025 at North South University on Thursday, Farida Akhter, adviser to the ministry of fisheries and livestock said, “Bangladesh values the friendship with China with great respect because of the achievements and leadership China has shown globally in the transformation of the economy and in bringing people out of poverty. At the event, Chinese ambassador Yao Wen hoped that the bilateral relations would “continue to rise to new heights” though people-to-people engagement and cultural exchange. The day also featured a youth forum, academic discussions, and a three-day film festival showcasing Bangladeshi and Chinese productions.
