dc.description.abstractOver 7000 students were awarded graduation degrees at the 24th Convocation of North South University (NSU) held on Wednesday at the Bangabandhu Bangla- desh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in the city, says a statement. Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni presided over the ceremony on behalf of President Mohammed Shahabuddin, who is the Chancellor of all universities in the country. The convocation speaker, Montek S Ahluwalia, former Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission of India and a distinguished Fellow of the Centre for Social and Economic Progress, addressed the graduating students.
