dc.description.abstractNorth South University hosted its fall semester orientation programme on its campus in Dhaka on Wednesday. In the programme, 94 students were awarded scholarships at varying rates, including 100 per cent merit scholarships granted to 35 students in recognition of their exceptional performance in the admission test. Md Mokhles Ur Rahman, senior secretary, Ministry of Public Administration, attended the event as chief guest. NSU board of trustees of chairman Aziz Al Kaiser attended as special guest while NSU board of trustees member Benajir Ahmed attended as guest of honour at the event, which was chaired by NSU vice-chancellor Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury. NSU registrar Ahmed Tazmeen delivered the welcome speech to the new students.
