dc.description.abstractBangladesh and China would foster stronger ties in technology transfer and skills development, expert said at ‘Dhaka China Day 2024’ programme at North South University, jointly organised by embassy of China in Bangladesh and NSU on Tuesday. As chief guest, brigadier general (retired) M Sakhawat Hussain, adviser to the ministry of textiles and jute and the ministry of shipping, graced the event. Yao Wen, Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh and Azim Uddin Ahmed, chairman of the NSU board of trustees, joined as special guests. Other dignitaries included Yasmin Kamal and Aziz Al Kaiser, members of the NSU board of trustees, professor Abdur Rob Khan, treasurer and acting pro-vice-chancellor, and Ma Xioyan, director of the Confucius Institute at NSU. The session was chaired by professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, vice-chancellor of NSU.
