| dc.description.abstract | The University of Dhaka, Jahangirnagar University, Daffodil International University, Gazipur Agricultural University and the North South University have jointly ranked first among all universities in Bangladesh in the United Kingdom-based Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026. All five universities have been placed within the 801–1,000 band among the universities in the THE rankings released on Thursday. The NSU has once again secured its position as one of the leading universities in Bangladesh in the ranking. Vice-chancellor of the university Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury stated that this milestone reflected the collective effort and commitment of NSU students, faculty, staff and alumni who continually strived for academic excellence and innovation. | |
