dc.description.abstractBeximco Pharmaceuticals PLC and the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at North South University (NSU) have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening academia-industry collaboration in pharmaceutical research, innovation, and student development. On 3 September 2026, two NSU MPharm students formally submitted their thesis projects at Beximco Pharma’s manufacturing facility in Tongi. Under a memorandum of understanding signed in the previous year, the company provides financial support and research facilities to selected students undertaking industry-focused thesis projects. During the visit, an NSU delegation led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury explored the company’s manufacturing operations, quality standards, and production facilities. The partnership aims to enhance practical research experience, develop skilled pharmaceutical professionals, and contribute to the advancement of Bangladesh’s pharmaceutical sector.
