Abstract
North South University's (NSU) School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) hosted the NSU World Cup Quiz Competition 2026. Students from classes 8 to 12 from educational institutions across Bangladesh participated in the competition. A total of 520 teams participated in the competition. The champion team received BDT 50,000, while the first and second runners-up were awarded BDT 30,000 and BDT 20,000, respectively. The competition was graced by Benajir Ahmed, Founder Life Member and former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of NSU, as the chief guest. Sheikh Camara, Ivorian footballer, attended the event as the special guest. The programme was chaired by Prof. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice- Chancellor of NSU, while the opening address was delivered by Prof. Md Rizwanul Islam, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
