North South University’s Career and Placement Centre on Wednesday hosted the Grameenphone Next Business Leader programme, a flagship event designed to inspire and guide students toward successful careers in the telecommunications industry. A key event highlight was signing a memorandum of understanding between the NSU and the GP, said a press release on Wednesday. This strategic partnership is set to create numerous opportunities for both parties, fostering collaboration and opening new doors for the NSU students to gain real-world experience in one of the world’s leading telecom institutions. The NSU vice-chancellor Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury emphasised the crucial role of industry exposure in developing future leaders at the event, stating, ‘This partnership with Grameenphone provides our students with invaluable opportunities to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional excellence.’
