In his remarks, Mr. Aziz Al Kaiser said, "I remain committed to strengthening the university's academic excellence, research, innovation, and global engagement. "Mr. Aziz Al Kaiser is the son of Late Mr. M. A. Hashem, an industrialist, former member of parliament, former chairman of the NSU BoT, and founder of Partex Group. Mr. Kaiser has played a significant role in shaping NSU's development over the years as a member of its BoT. He is also the chairman of Partex Star Group and the immediate past Chairman of City Bank PLC.
- ItemOpen Accessনর্থ সাউথ ইউনিভার্সিটির ট্রাস্টি বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যান - আজিজ আল কায়সার পুনর্নির্বাচিত(দৈনিক ইত্তেফাক, 2026-07-02) দৈনিক ইত্তেফাক; প্রথম আলোনর্থ সাউথ ইউনিভার্সিটির (এনএসইউ) ট্রাস্টি বোর্ডের (বিওটি) চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে আবার নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন আজিজ আল কায়সার। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উন্নয়নে তাঁর নেতৃত্ব, কৌশলগত দূরদর্শিতা এবং অব্যাহত অবদানের স্বীকৃতি হিসেবে তাঁকে ২০২৬-২৭ মেয়াদেও এ দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে I চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে পুনর্নিয়োগ পাওয়ার পর আজিজ আল কায়সার বলেন, ‘বোর্ড আবারও আমার ওপর আস্থা রাখায় আমি কৃতজ্ঞ। এনএসইউ পরিবারের সবাইকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে শিক্ষা, গবেষণা, উদ্ভাবন এবং আন্তর্জাতিক সহযোগিতাকে আরও এগিয়ে নিতে কাজ করে যাব।’ আজিজ আল কায়সার নর্থ সাউথ ইউনিভার্সিটির প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সদস্য ও ট্রাস্টি বোর্ডের সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান প্রয়াত এম এ হাশেমের পুত্র। তিনি বর্তমানে পারটেক্স স্টার গ্রুপের চেয়ারম্যান এবং সিটি ব্যাংক পিএলসির সদ্য সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান। করপোরেট খাতে তাঁর দীর্ঘ অভিজ্ঞতা এবং উচ্চশিক্ষার উন্নয়নে অঙ্গীকার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অগ্রযাত্রায় গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখছে বলে বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে।

Kamal Uddin Khan. The late ABM Kamal Uddin Khan was the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the NSU Foundation. He was a successful industrialist, prominent banker and philanthropist.
